Been busy again over at Squidoo. Did pages for Brendan Fraser and Michelle Yeoh, both of whom will be in the new Mummy movie coming out in August. Looking forward to that one! Plus, I discovered Brendan's going to be in a movie version of Inkheart in March, which is one of the books I just did a review of. And yeah! The third book in that series should be out in April - Inkdeath.
We also did a 10-minute lens challenge - see what you could actually create in 10 minutes - and I took the opportunity to get my Kung Fu Panda lens off the ground. One of those things that's been on my list. Course, now, I need to make it a worthy lens. Also, I need to take the same challenge with myself at least once a week to just get something off the ground. I have so many ideas and things like movies are easy to slap together quickly.
I'm working on a schedule (still mentally) for all the stuff I need to do on a regular basis to promote my Squidoo lenses. Like answer questions at Yahoo or stumble pages or whatever. There are so many viral ways to promote your stuff that it gets overwhelming. That on top of creating pages, updating them, tweaking them. That's my goal for January - get a workable schedule so this doesn't eat into all my time. (But it's so fun!!)

Book reviews
I've decided one of my other branches on Squidoo is going to be books, specifically books for kids in that 10-12 age range. I've been reading tons of them to make suggestions to my friends' kids and as my nieces and nephews are starting to hit that age range as well, it'll come in handy down the road for them as well. It's hard to know what's truly appropriate for that pre-teen age and tough to pick for them. And the parents don't have time to really read everything. Plus, I just really enjoy good books for that age. They're generally pretty fun and imaginative. Eventually, I hope to have enough to start a group.
Here's my first lens on one of these books. This one I would say is for girls, although there might be some boys who would enjoy the adventure of it. But very few.

Getting tired of Sesame Street
OK, as much fun as it has been, I'm actually getting a little tired of Sesame Street. :-) I've gotten two more lenses done and have one more in the hopper. But I think it's time to move back over to my First Woman series and get it into better shape before Women's History Month gets here. There's eight lenses in that series and only one or two are up to my usual standards. (Which, as it turns out, are pretty high. I'm not sure people will want me doing critiques of their lenses on SquidU anymore!!)
Here's the recent Sesame Street ones:

Sunny Days ...
Taking a tour on Sesame Street lately. Created three new lenses revolving around Muppets:
- Kermit the Frog - was underwhelmed by the two out there, so made my own
- Big Bird - this was fun!
- Sesame Street News - a video showcase of some of Kermit's reports. Poor guy has a hard time staying at arm's length from his stories!
So I'm up to 21 lenses now. Yeah! Have the content mostly done for one on Super Grover - trying to decide if it should be a video one, if it should be Grover with just a section on Super Grover or what. Also working on content for some on some books I've been reading. Because I don't have enough to do with work and the house!
